Remote laser soldering system

Goal: The main goal of this project was a development of laser-based system for remote laser soldering of electrical components.

Main features

• The system allows generation of specific temperature profiles in the soldering point.
• Algorithm for calculation of the pulse shape based on required temperature profile.
• Based on commercial high power, 450 [nm], laser diodes.
• Fully automated - LabView based user interface.
