ABOUT ME

Scientific R&D
Roughly 10 years in Solid state laser science with experience in scientific research in the academy as well as R&D for laser industry.
Since 2007, participating as a laser scientist in more than 10 international scientific research projects.
More than 40 scientific publications, 4 publications in journals with impact factor, more than 60 independent citations.

Scientific team leader in two Start Up companies focused in commercialization of scientific research. The successful completion of the projects result in the development of fully functional porotypes of two unique devices. The intellectual properties result from the projects was protected with a utility models in Bulgarian patent office with a protection number 2192/ 31.03.2016 and 2801/16.10.2017.
More recent scientific interest are connected with surface properties of low temperature, liquid metals and metal alloys. They have broad applications in electronic industry as solders for electronic components, as well as application in nuclear industry as heat exchanger in so called Small Modular Reactors.

Education
More than 5 years of experience in education. Associated professor at Sofia University, Faculty of Physics, Since 2018. Lectures in Introductory Physics for non physicist (Engineers, Scientist, Chemist etc.), Introduction in graphical programing with LabVIew, 3D Design with SOLIDWORKS.

Industrial Automation and Testing
More than 5 years of experience in graphical programing with LabView, for hardware control, test measurements and industrial automation. Since 2017, part time position as LabView developer for Dikman Systems LTD. Six months project with Festo Bulgaria in 2019 and number of other small projects for devices control and experiments automation for science and the industry.
